## Description

Adyen is looking for a Head of Hardware Partnerships to serve as the strategic thought leader of its global hardware agenda.

The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to define a hardware strategy that transforms how merchants interact with their customers in the physical world.

Key responsibilities include:

- Setting the Global Hardware Agenda: defining the long-term roadmap for Adyen's physical presence with product support

- Leading Complex Ecosystem Commercials: owning the end-to-end commercial lifecycle with critical global hardware partners

- Bridging Product & Market Needs: collaborating with Product Management to ensure hardware capabilities align with the software ecosystem

- Scaling Global Expansion: leading the strategy for hardware certification and distribution in new markets

- Driving Partner-Led Innovation: advocating for Adyen's merchants by pushing hardware partners to integrate specific features

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with 5-10 years of experience in leading hardware partnerships or product strategy within the payments, point-of-sale, or consumer electronics sectors.

They will be customer-obsessed, an industry influencer, operationally rigorous, and a clear communicator.

The base salary for this role in San Francisco ranges from 258-375k plus RSUs.
