## Description

Leidos is seeking a licensed behavioural health professional to join our Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team to support Fort Riley, Kansas.

As an Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (Adult-MFLC), you will provide non-medical support, including counseling, consultation, and outreach, to service members, military family members, and eligible staff.

The role involves:

- Face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families (individuals, couples, and families)

- Observing, participating, and engaging in activities with service members, military spouses, and families

- Providing coaching, guidance, and support to installation staff and modeling behaviour management techniques

- Offering presentations to service members, military families, and military leadership at military-connect events

- Promoting creativity and positivity through approved materials

- Building rapport with parents and families by attending installation and community events

- Helping with transition adjustments, such as a new school and a new home

- Participating in regular in-service training or other contract activities as assigned

- Communicating information regarding trends and issues at assigned installation to Team Leads

The role also requires responding to emergent situations, traversing long distances, and working in various physical environments.

**Requirements:**

- Master's degree or higher in the Behavioural Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)

- Licensure to practice at the independent practice level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in the state where services are provided

- U.S. citizenship

- Ability to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance
