## Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team at Keywords Studios in Pune, India. As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our production workload and internal engineering teams.

### About the Team

The DevOps team is at the core of our engineering organisation, with a centralised team that has technical depth both horizontally and vertically. We are responsible for creating, maintaining, scaling, and securing infrastructure used by many teams for critical workloads.

### Key Areas of Focus

- Production and development infrastructure provisioning and maintenance

- Database infrastructure

- Automation

- Core infrastructure (scalability, performance, and optimisation)

- Security and compliance

- Engineering processes

### Responsibilities

As a DevOps engineer, you will:

- Design and build solutions that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective

- Manage and maintain UNIX-like operating systems (specifically Ubuntu)

- Work with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

- Ensure secure containerised environments

- Collaborate on infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform

- Work with cloud computing platforms including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Heroku

- Manage NoSQL and RDBMS databases

- Experience with queuing systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, and big data platforms like Hadoop

### Requirements

- 3+ years of relevant experience

- In-depth knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems

- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security architectures, and identity and access management principles

- Experience with containerisation technologies and securing containerised environments

- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools

- Experience with cloud computing platforms

- Familiarity with database management systems

- Understanding of queuing systems and big data platforms
