## Description

TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a skilled RTS #2 Mechanic to join their team in Banbury, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will report to the RTS Chief Mechanic or their designee and play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of departmental and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and organised work area

- Follow Engineering procedures and protocols as dictated by the Haas F1 Team

- Collaborate with the Factory Operations Team Leader on workloads, fault reporting, and diagnoses

- Assume all roles and responsibilities of the Race Team #2 Mechanic when trackside

- Ensure servicing and builds of components are completed and aligned on the Lifing system

- Maintain and service Pit Stop Equipment, Off Car Equipment, and Tooling

- Build, service, and specify the Spare Chassis in line with the Chief Mechanic's expectations

- Participate in Pit Stops and support chosen departments for Turnarounds, Engineering Projects, Car Builds, and Event Support

- Report reliability issues and seek advice before undertaking unusual tasks

The ideal candidate will possess:

- GCSE, High School Diploma, or equivalent

- 2-3 years of experience in a similar mechanical role within motorsport, preferably Formula 1

- Strong technical background in racing cars and mechanical understanding

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information

- Basic fabrication and machining skills

- Solid computer knowledge, preferably experience in Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and 3DX

The role requires adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
