## Description

TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Senior Composite Design Engineer to join their team in Maranello, Italy.

The team, the first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, prides itself on being an ambitious challenger within Formula 1. With more than 200 grand prix starts, they are guided by clear objectives and technical partnerships.

As a Senior Composite Design Engineer, you will report to the Head of Composite Design or their designee. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating in the planning and strategy of component development and race introduction

- Designing and developing F1 Car components

- Seeking continuous improvement in the design of components with a prime focus on car performance

- Contributing to composite design group workload plans in consultation with business partners

- Contributing to concept development in relation to composite design

- Liaising with the Race Team concerning reliability and relevant composite design revisions

- Performing necessary research and development functions

You will also be expected to:

- Carry out day-to-day tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales

- Ensure work meets expected service, quality, and compliance standards

- Demonstrate accountability and professionalism in all activities

- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

- Participate in meetings, briefings, and forums as required

- Respond to queries within scope, escalating more complex matters when necessary

- Adhere to relevant legislation, organisational policies, and internal controls

- Handle information responsibly, including confidential or sensitive data

- Support audit, governance, and risk management activities as required

- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes and ways of working

- Participate in team initiatives, projects, or improvement activities

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional motorsports environment with design experience

- Some FEA experience

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
