## Description

We are seeking an analyst to join our S&P Global Energy team, focusing on solar, batteries, energy storage, and wind technologies. The successful candidate will apply strong industry knowledge and analytical skills to produce high-quality reports and insights for clients.

Responsibilities and Impact: The role involves collecting, managing, and analysing market data across clean energy technologies to track trends. You will create high-quality quantitative and qualitative market reports, support client engagements, and present research findings at conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyse market data on clean energy technologies to identify trends

- Create high-quality market reports on multiple clean energy technologies, focusing on Southeast Asia and South Asia

- Support client engagements through emails and meetings

- Present research findings at internal and external conferences and events in Asia

- Assist in streamlining research and data processes to increase team efficiency

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, advanced knowledge of the clean energy technology industry, and strong analytical skills. Prior experience as a research analyst is highly valued.

Basic Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related field

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a global team

- Strong analytical, quantitative, data modelling, and problem-solving skills

- Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with clean energy technologies and global supply chains

- Understanding of policies, regulations, and market mechanisms influencing renewables markets
