We're looking for a Case Manager in Training to work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position.

Responsibilities:

- Make initial calls to clients after signing to obtain relevant information to open their file

- Accept inbound calls and place outbound calls to clients as needed

- Request coverage follow-up to the coverage team

- Transfer cases to Case Managers once files are opened

- Create new files and enter pertinent information into case management software

- Enter new roles in the system

- Request police reports

- Mail HIPAA forms to clients

- Email client welcome packets to clients or mail if no email on file

- Document all activity in the system

- Add all insurance information and police report numbers into the file

- Request all documents from clients needed for their file

- Upload necessary documents to the client's file

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED is required; college preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients

- Adaptable in an ever-changing environment and handle multiple priorities

- Excellent oral communication with an outgoing personality

- Able to multitask and learn quickly

- Must thrive in a team environment

- Reliable and dependable

- Excellent comprehension and critical-thinking skills

- Ability to type at least 35 WPM with excellent writing skills while navigating through multiple software applications
