## Description

As an Engineering Manager - Business Expense Management at Wise, you'll join a growing team that's expanding the way Business customers can use their Wise Account.

Your mission will be to create simple, easy-to-use experiences for a complex financial product that serves over 700,000 businesses across the globe.

You'll own everything related to the process of tracking, submitting, and managing business expenses as smoothly and hassle-free as possible.

**Responsibilities**

- Design and build robust distributed backend systems

- Provide the best experience around collecting and managing receipts

- Submit expense reports and automate the enforcement of company spend policies

- Automate businesses' month-end processes leveraging LLM technologies

- Issue innovative business cards products

- Provide visibility over expenses for business owners and finance heads

**Technical Responsibilities**

- Own a technical roadmap to ensure that the application is maintained to high standards

- Lead the development of new solutions

- Serve as a technical expert for the Business Expense Managements domain

- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding the team on architectural design, code reviews, and best practices

**Leadership Responsibilities**

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers

- Participate in product roadmapping and strategy sessions with the product management team

- Work closely with other Engineering Leads, Staff Engineers, and Product to shape the team's and squad's technical roadmaps
