We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Control Manager.

Principal responsibilities:

- Liaise with Businesses for ensuring their compliance with statutory, group and internal requirements

- Provide assistance on Risk & Control Assessments review and update

- Perform data analysis for risk identification and monitoring

- Handle ad hoc projects in relation to Business/ Entity risk and compliance

- Collaborate with onshore manager/stakeholders to facilitate internal communication

- Coordinate with Businesses in relation to regulatory or audit enquiries and to ensure proper completion of the concerned actions

- Monthly performance report, which contain current tasks status

- Communicate with relevant stakeholder timely, ensuring the effectiveness and smoothness of operations

- Monitor effectiveness controls through KPI/KCI, QC/QA, governance etc.

Requirements:

- Degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications

- Minimum 3 years’ banking experience, preferably with exposure to retail banking business and knowledge of related regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

- Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation

- Good communication and English writing skills, with sound knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint an advantage

- Proficiency in both English and Chinese

- Good time management and project management capabilities

- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
