## Description

We are seeking an Overhead Line (OHL) Design engineer to join our Power Networks team. As an OHL Design engineer at WSP, you will work on a variety of projects for multiple clients and network owners, focusing on design, construction, and calculations within the overhead line segment, covering voltage levels from 30 kV to 130 kV.

Responsibilities:

- Lead or contribute to overhead line design for medium voltage grids.

- Perform tower spotting, line profiling, and routing studies.

- Conduct sag and tension calculations according to international or Scandinavian standards.

- Coordinate with Swedish internal teams.

- Ensure technical compliance, quality, and design optimization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.

- At least three years experience in overhead power line design (33–130 kV).

- Strong competence in tower spotting or sag/tension calculations.

- Familiarity with PLS-CADD or similar design tools is a strong advantage.

- Prior experience working on European or Scandinavian utility projects is a plus.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation. Experience in Icetow, AvCAD or similar programs is a merit.

- Previous experience working as a consultant is also considered a plus.

Location: This role can be based at any of WSP's offices in Sweden or globally.

Language: Proficiency in English is required; Swedish is a merit.
