## Description

Welocalize, a Welo Global brand, is seeking a native-level Japanese speaker to join a large-scale AI and consumer technology program. The successful candidate will evaluate a pre-release AI model in Japanese and test its performance on a real device.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Review pre-release AI model output in Japanese and assess its accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.

- Test the Japanese experience against the English one, confirming feature parity and checking the product handles non-Latin script, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input correctly.

- Identify display problems and localization errors, writing clear reports for developers.

- Share native-level insights on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances.

- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.

**Job Requirements:**

- Native-level or fully bilingual Japanese, written and spoken.

- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, comfortable moving between iOS and Android.

- Sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgment when assessing quality.

- Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts, and explain issues clearly in English.

- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
