## Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer - VP to spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.

**Purpose of the role** To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

**Accountabilities**

- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.

- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organisation’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.

- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

**Requirements**

- Extensive hands-on experience in Java (JDK 17+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and building highly scalable, secure backend systems for financial and enterprise applications.

- Strong expertise in RESTful API design and development, microservices architecture, and service-to-service integrations in high-volume transactional environments.

- Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases, with strong focus on data integrity and performance.

- Strong knowledge of security standards and practices including OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding guidelines.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native architectures.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, build tools (Maven, Gradle), and secure deployments.

- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and enterprise development workflows.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, system resiliency, fault tolerance, observability, and production support in mission-critical environments.

**Nice to Have**

- Experience developing and integrating solutions on Hyperledger Besu or other enterprise blockchain platforms.

- Practical experience developing, integrating, testing, and supporting Smart Contracts and blockchain-enabled business workflows.

- Experience integrating enterprise applications with blockchain networks through APIs, events, message-driven architectures, and middleware platforms.

- Strong experience working in regulated environments with strict compliance, audit, and governance requirements.
