## Description

We are seeking a Host to join our team at Le Vallauris in Palm Springs. As a Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff before they are seated for their dining experience.

You will be responsible for greeting guests, answering incoming calls, and creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operations/Restaurants. You will need to have acute organisational and people skills, which will promote a positive experience from the moment anyone arrives until their departure.

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring every member and guest is welcomed by name and in a hospitable manner

- Answering high-volume phone lines and confidently responding to standard queries regarding menus, hours of operation, and amenity availability/pricing

- Creating reservations for the club/restaurants and assisting F&B Managers on the floor with service standards and service execution

- Providing excellent service to all guests, members, and staff via friendliness, professionalism, and organisational efficiency

- Building relationships with members and guests and communicating any red flags and positive feedback to management

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role

- Experience with OpenTable and MICROS

- Experience answering high-volume phone lines and responding to inquiries professionally and in a timely manner

- Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts

- Detail-oriented, articulate, and able to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding work environment

- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
