## Description

We are seeking a technology leader to serve as a Technical Lead - Software Engineering for our RiskNarrative platform, a B2B risk orchestration platform that enables organizations to assess and manage risks throughout the customer lifecycle.

As a Technical Lead, you will provide technical direction, drive innovation, and influence the delivery of large-scale software solutions. You will serve as a subject matter expert for a specific team of Software Engineers, writing code on complex systems and applications, and providing direction on project plans, schedules, and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

- Write and review detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity

- Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues

- Interface with technical personnel to finalize requirements

- Complete complex bug fixes

- Work closely with development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs

- Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews

- Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

- Resolve complex technical issues

- Mentor and train entry-level software engineers

- Keep abreast of new technology developments

- Design and work with complex data models

- Carry out management responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees

Requirements:

- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Software Engineering experience with development languages including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net

- Knowledge of industry best practices in development

- Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources

- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

- Strong experience with various resource models

- Test-driven development and strong research skills

- Strong proficiency with data manipulation language and optimization techniques

- Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles
