## Description

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Weather Anchor to join our team at KREM KSKN-TV in Spokane. As a Weather Anchor, you will prepare and deliver accurate weather reports on-air and online in a conversational manner. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyze information to alert our audiences about weather conditions in their community.

Responsibilities:

- Provide accurate and compelling weather forecasts across multiple platforms

- Prepare and deliver severe weather updates, interrupting regular programming as necessary

- Create clean, creative, and informative graphics to tell the weather story

- Fill in on other shifts when necessary

- Write and report from the field or inside the newsroom

- Update the website and interact with viewers on social media platforms daily

- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

- Make public appearances

Requirements:

- BA/BS degree in Meteorology, Geoscience, or Atmospheric Science

- 5-7 years of on-air meteorology experience

- Proficient in posting content to various websites and social media platforms; computer literacy required, including weather and newsroom computer systems
