## Description

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Sourcing Team within our Core Engineering group in Israel.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead the design of robust, scalable systems leveraging Python, React, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Celery, while integrating MS Teams to create a seamless communication experience for recruiters and candidates alike.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement high-performance, scalable solutions for global enterprises using code generation.

- System Evolution: Drive the evolution of our distributed systems built on Kubernetes, ensuring they meet the demands of a rapidly scaling client base.

- Production Excellence: Set and maintain the gold standard for production systems.

- AI Integration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Data Scientists to embed cutting-edge AI and machine learning capabilities into our core offerings.

- Technical Mentorship: Act as a force multiplier for the team, mentoring and upskilling fellow engineers.

- Strategic Input: Bring your deep industry experience to our agile processes, helping the team adapt, grow, and innovate.

**Requirements:**

- 5+ years of professional backend experience, with a focus on Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.

- A track record of designing and building complex, large-scale systems and high-concurrency architectures.

- Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and modern CI/CD pipelines.

- Expertise in integrating third-party APIs and managing modern message brokers (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and data modeling for scale.

- High efficiency in leveraging coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate the development lifecycle.

**Nice to Have:**

- Experience with platforms such as Argo Workflows or Airflow.

- Hands-on experience building and maintaining robust ETL/data pipelines.

- Demonstrated experience onboarding and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
