## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer for Secondary Design Substation to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

As a Principal Engineer at WSP, you will play a key role in designing and delivering substation projects. With approximately 4,000 talented people across 3 locations in India and more than 73,000 globally, we engineer projects that will help societies grow for lifetimes to come.

## Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of secondary systems for substations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations

- Develop and implement design standards and best practices

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

- Minimum 10 years of experience in substation design and engineering

- Strong knowledge of secondary system design, including control, protection, and monitoring systems

- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and electrical design tools

- Excellent communication and project management skills
