### Core Tech Support Engineer

The Information Technology team is core to the health and growth of Millennium's business. As a Core Tech Support Engineer, you will provide day-to-day application support across key functional areas including Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance and Compliance.

### Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day application support across key functional areas including Treasury, Middle Office, Operations, Finance and Compliance

- Monitor production stability, troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolution to deliver a high standard of support to end users

- Support incident, problem and release management activities to help maintain a stable and resilient production environment

- Partner closely with development teams to support new feature delivery and ensure applications perform reliably in production

- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk

- Work with DevOps and engineering tools including TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub, Octopus and Confluence

- Lead outage calls, coordinate stakeholders and provide clear, timely updates to senior management during production incidents

- Take ownership of incident communications and postmortem documentation, helping drive follow-through and continuous improvement

### Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

- 2 to 4 years of experience in application support or a related production support environment

- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of relational database systems

- Ability to support both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, with solid comfort working in Unix

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess issues quickly and respond effectively

- Ability to learn new systems, technologies and business concepts quickly

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly during high-pressure situations

- High level of ownership, commitment and teamwork, with an energetic, self-starting and independent approach
