## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

The successful candidate will undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, and contribute to the design of building services projects, with a focus on data centre projects, power systems, redundancy design, and system integration.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing continuous feedback to the Local Head of GCC on protocol effectiveness and suggesting improvements

- Developing positive relationships with the WSP UK Team and communicating openly about project progress

- Participating in project meetings, team meetings, and disseminating information within the team

- Identifying and managing potential risk issues and following company commercial and contracting processes

- Managing delegated tasks to meet deadlines and flagging resourcing concerns to the team leader

- Identifying and flagging additional fees to the Local GCC Head of MEP

- Completing timesheets accurately ahead of weekly deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering and membership of an accredited engineering body (MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE)

- Proven experience in designing building services with significant experience in a similar role

- Technical expertise in electrical design, particularly in data centre projects, power systems, and system integration

- Experience with technical software such as Dialux, Dialux EVO, Amtech, and Hevacomp

- Excellent communication and management skills, with fluency in English

Desired skills include:

- Working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA, and other local codes

- Experience with UK codes and regulations
