## Description

We are seeking a part-time Security Officer to support the site at The Dolphin Centre, Poole. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of customers, buildings, and personnel.

**Job Summary** The successful candidate will provide operational support to deliver the agreed service level, assist the team, and support the delivery of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide operational support to deliver the agreed service level

- Assist the team by fostering team spirit and co-operation

- Support the delivery of SOPs and maintenance of documentation sets across the security team

- Assist in maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation

- Promote a secure and safe working environment on site

- Complete incident reports in the event of an incident

- Ensure complaints are dealt with in a professional and timely manner

- Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels

- Ensure all equipment provided to assist security is fully operational

- Liaise with the Centre Management Team and Security Supervisor

**Requirements**

- Experience of working within the Security Industry

- Holds SIA Security Licence – SG or DS

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required

- Willingness and ability to work effectively within a team

- Proactive approach to learning in the role and identifying own training needs

- Can “do” attitude

- Excellent observational skills
