## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to join the UK GCC CIVIL Team in Bengaluru, working alongside our UK discipline. You will be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of projects, ensuring design adequacy, compliance with standards and legislation, resource allocation, cost control, and quality assurance.

**Responsibilities**

- Plan and manage project delivery, including design adequacy and compliance with standards

- Lead road pavement design projects

- Work with heavy-duty pavements (ports and airfields), concrete, and flexible pavement design

- Conduct pavement investigations for maintenance design and failure analysis

- Understand materials behavior and standard specifications

- Manage teams and people

- Communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal skills

**Qualifications**

- 11 years of professional experience in pavement design and evaluation

- At least 5 years of experience in pavement design using AASHTO/DMRB methods

- Chartered member or close to achieving Chartership Status with the UK Engineering Council
