## Description

We are seeking a Manager - Business Finance to join our team at Swiggy Instamart, which is building the convenience grocery segment in India.

As a category-focused Business Finance role, you will serve as an interface between the category/business team, finance function, and Supply/Marketing and Operations teams in business planning.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing a deep understanding of the Instamart business and consumers, categories, and other functions of the organization

- Conducting data-driven trend analysis for P/L and revenue metrics with a focus on improving the shape of the P/L while highlighting key leadership insights

- Having a clear understanding of the drivers of revenue, and the impact of pricing decisions on growth

- Day-to-day P/L Management by having a good relationship with the business stakeholders to drive business and growth

- Festive/Events led planning, execution, and delivery of the plan

- Developing solid category understanding to act as a partner for category development and growth

- Creating processes for new initiatives and improving existing ones with a focus on governance & cost leakage

- Preparing, managing, and publishing business scorecards

- Stakeholder Management; working very closely with the business teams

- Running weekly reviews with the business stakeholders

- Assisting with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as and when required

The ideal candidate will have:

- CA/MBA/B.Tech qualifications

- Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams

- Proficiency in Financial modeling and PowerPoint skills

- Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, experience in a start-up/Retail/fast-paced companies would be preferred

- Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems

- Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge/hands-on experience of AI such as Claude, Gemini/ChatGPT would be a plus
