## Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our SEA distributed team. As an Integration Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to our most strategic users while they integrate with Stripe.

## Responsibilities

- Be a trusted technical advisor to clients and project members to solve complex technical challenges, and establish credibility & build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within client organisations.

- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture and other user-facing teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and revenue on behalf of the Professional Services team.

- Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture down to code implementation.

- Think on your feet and communicate technical concepts effectively, explaining how Stripe works from a product feature and API architecture perspective.

- Educate users and the developer community about Stripe's value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.

- Serve as the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our largest users' and partners' technical teams.

- Stay up-to-date with new Stripe technologies and software products, showcasing technical thought leadership in whitepapers, conferences, and other industry events.

- Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to the product and engineering teams.

- Contribute to the development of Professional Services methodologies and tools to accelerate engagements and ease troubleshooting.

## Requirements

- At least 8+ years of experience in an architecture, technical consulting, process re-engineering, or application delivery/technical engineering role.

- Comfortable with various code-level debugging (Stripe code and user code).

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience with enterprise-level systems, including middleware, integrating with third-party APIs, and skills in systems flows, data/business object modelling, and use case/user interface production.

- Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.

- Ability to accommodate light travel quarterly for customer on-sites and team meetings.

- Self-starter with the ability to assess, troubleshoot, and work autonomously to decompose and solve complex problems.
