## Description

Join 3M as a Customs Import/Export Specialist and play a key role in ensuring trade compliance and operational efficiency in the Logistics Trade Compliance Americas division.

As a Customs Import/Export Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the preparation of Mexican and American customs documentation, managing import/export electronic files, ensuring compliance with customs authorities, and collaborating with carriers, customs agents, and government agencies.

Your impact in this role:

- Ensure the accuracy and truthfulness of customs compliance information, optimizing dispatch times and minimizing incidents with authorities.

- Coordinate and validate import and export shipment documentation, ensuring correct delivery to assigned transport lines.

- Attend to customs clearance processes and negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.

- Manage weekly and monthly import/export consolidated closures and timely integration of electronic files.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field.

- At least 1 year of experience in customs operations, preparation of customs declarations, and import/export clearance.

- Knowledge of CTPAT/BASC regulations and experience with customs software.

Preferred qualifications:

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and focus on results.

- Availability to work on-site from Monday to Saturday.

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua (on-site work model). Travel: Up to 10% national/international travel possible. Relocation: Not authorized.
