## Description

At Bayer, we're visionaries driven to solve the world's toughest challenges. As a Pharmaceutical Operator on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:20 PM), you will perform tasks to plan and manufacture high-quality products on time and in the right quantities.

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensure a safe work environment by following safety procedures, workplace standards, and company guidelines.

- Work with other pharmaceutical operators and supervisors to establish priorities and meet deadlines.

- Maintain, clean, and organize your work area, and participate in safety improvement projects.

- Dispense components, operate, clean, set-up, changeover, and maintain equipment and rooms to manufacture products.

- Assist with technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks as needed and trained.

- Ensure product quality by performing in-process checks, complying with cGMPs, and participating in quality improvement projects.

- Accurately record process/manufacturing steps, production results, and other required cGMP information.

- Review and approve work output for team members using validated methods.

- Perform work on a personal computer, complete production documentation, and utilize systems as required.

- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as needed.

- Take ownership of training and learning to develop high-performance competencies.

- Cross-train and train other pharmaceutical operators on equipment and processes as needed.

**Requirements:**

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Must be willing to work overtime as required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- At least 6 months of experience using motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.

- At least 6 months of experience using automated inventory systems or equivalent computer systems.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Physically able to operate a forklift truck.

- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment.

- Good mathematical aptitude.

- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment.

**Compensation:**

- Hourly rate between $26.48-$39.72.

- Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation.
