## Depot Manager – Newchapel

At Biffa, we're proud to be a leader in sustainable waste management. We're looking for an experienced Depot Manager to lead our Newchapel collections operations, driving performance, safety, and service excellence.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, shape operational strategy, and play a key role in delivering reliable and sustainable waste solutions to our customers.

## Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with a team of dedicated waste management professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

- Drive performance against KPIs while promoting best practice in cost control, productivity, and operational efficiency.

- Lead, develop, and inspire drivers and operational staff to create a high-performing and positive workplace culture.

- Coordinate depot resources effectively to maximise productivity and service quality.

- Take ownership of the depot's profit and loss performance, delegating effectively to deliver consistent growth.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with local customers, working alongside the Biffa Business Improvement Manager to ensure excellent and cost-effective service.

- Set clear objectives for operational teams, monitor performance, and take decisive action to achieve results.

- Influence operational decisions, implement improvements, and help shape the future direction of the depot.
