- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

- Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

- Current licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Maryland

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual therapy techniques
