## Description

Ford Racing Cars Electrical System Engineer

Join the Ford Racing team as an Electrical Systems Integration Engineer, responsible for designing and developing electrical content for Ford Performance vehicles. You will lead pre-design, design, and launch of current and future Ford Racing vehicle programs.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Ford Performance-specific electrical content

- Coordinate technical design reviews between component and EDS engineers to ensure system integrity

- Survey engineers for components with electrical interfaces and populate device transmittals into VSEM

- Build DV Requirements for system-level electrical functions and perform validation testing

- Support BOM signoffs for pre-production build events

- Represent the electrical team on evaluation drives

- Root cause and fix electrical issues on vehicles

- Support offsite vehicle-level DV testing

- Support breadboard activities and configure electrical modules and systems

- Provide onsite support for vehicle builds at the assembly plant

- Lead development of system designs that support vehicle performance targets

- Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and applicable Ford and regulatory requirements

- Develop innovative solutions for performance vehicles

- Support supplier sourcing processes and FMA activities

- Handle deliverables to support program and engineering GPDS breakthroughs

Qualifications:

- BS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of automotive electrical systems and vehicle launch experience

- Proficient with GPDS deliverables and core Ford engineering systems

- Hands-on experience with CAN tools, module flashing, network troubleshooting, and CAN logging

- Ability to manage complex tasks and deliver results under tight timelines

- Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to lead and build relationships with multi-functional teams

- Strong passion for performance and racing vehicles
