### Software Engineer

We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our team at Valve Corporation. As a software engineer, you will work on a range of projects, from game development to internal tools and infrastructure.

#### Responsibilities

- Collaborate with experts across a range of disciplines to design and develop software solutions

- Write high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code in a variety of programming languages

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase

- Work with our QA team to identify and fix bugs

- Develop and maintain internal tools and infrastructure

- Participate in the development of new features and technologies

- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions

#### Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in software development

- Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python

- Experience with game development or related technologies

- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

#### Nice to Have

- Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence

- Familiarity with cloud-based services such as AWS or Azure

- Experience with containerization using Docker

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
