## Description

DWS Group is seeking a Structured Finance Investment Analyst to support the research, analysis, and ongoing surveillance of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS).

The successful candidate will assist team members in evaluating new issue transactions and surveilling existing portfolio holdings across RMBS and CMBS. They will formulate high-conviction investment recommendations based on relative value, factoring in various account risk tolerances.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing offering memoranda and interpreting legal and structural provisions

- Underwriting collateral, including property-level cash flows, DSCR, LTV, and sponsor quality

- Building and maintaining cash flow models to assess structure and credit

- Leading efforts to maintain data integrity within various portfolio management and trading systems

The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a rating agency or buy-side investment firm with proven expertise in Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), including CMBS and/or RMBS. They will be highly proficient with Excel and industry-standard tools such as Intex, Trepp, and Bloomberg.
