## Description

We are looking for a Manager of Government Accounting and Compliance to join our premier team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be instrumental in crafting the future of the accounting and reporting function supporting US government (USG) operations.

As a Manager of Government Accounting and Compliance, you will be responsible for subject matter expertise in government and/or grant compliance, including applicable regulatory frameworks, such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DFARs, Uniform Guidance, Service Contracts Act, etc. and general contracting and pricing practices and principles in the technology industry.

Your responsibilities will include handling multi-entity financial structures for parent/subsidiary organizations, implementing scalable intercompany accounting processes that ensure DCAA compliance and consolidation for corporate reporting. You will also be responsible for maintaining and being responsible for accounting practices for contracts, ensuring strict adherence to USG compliance requirements.

You will review, analyze, and interpret contractual documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations. You will monitor and lead financial reporting for government contracts, ensuring all accounting activities and records are compliant with government standards and audit requirements.

You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation, training, and process improvements. You will support external audits and respond to inquiries from government agencies, including the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from a leading university in Finance and Accounting

- 10+ overall years of experience in accounting for US government contracting

- 2+ years of leadership experience

- Active U.S. Security Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one is required

- In-depth knowledge of CAS, FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation)

- Experience scaling accounting processes and new systems to support rapid organizational growth

- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives at the same time

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
