## Description

This is a 10-week summer internship program at Barclays, specifically in the Client Data & Engineering Group (CDEG) within the Chief Client Office (CCO).

As a Summer Analyst, you'll support client-focused activity by combining data analysis with commercial insight.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze data to generate insights on client activity and opportunities

- Support dashboards, reports, and materials used by coverage teams

- Contribute to tools that improve how client information is accessed and used

- Work with datasets to improve data quality and consistency

- Collaborate with teams across Banking, Markets, and Technology

You'll gain practical experience of how data and insight support client strategy and business activity.

Requirements:

- Students in their penultimate or final year from any academic background with an interest in business, finance, and data

- Enjoy working with data and solving problems

- Demonstrate strong analytical and structured thinking

- Be curious about clients, markets, and business activity

- Communicate clearly and work well in teams

- Be proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn

Experience with data analysis or programming (e.g., Python, SQL) is beneficial but not required.

The salary for this role is $110,000.
