## Description

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be part of a team of specialists focused on troubleshooting, fixing, and resolving complex issues in live customer deployments.

You will own issues end-to-end, from triage and investigation to resolution, validation, and handover, and you will be responsible for clear communication with stakeholders throughout, especially in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations

- Designing agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems

- Owning technical components end-to-end: from architecture choice to deployed, validated, and observable in production

- Building and integrating data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms

- Building and maintaining agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting

- Contributing to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move from sketch to deployable in days, not months

- Co-building alongside customers and partners, sharing best practices and enablement as you go

- Surfacing platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights to senior Engineers and the product team

- Partnering with the Deployment Strategist in your pod to translate customer business challenges into agentic solutions

Requirements:

- 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience

- At least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through

- Degree in Computer Science or a related field

- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience

- Fluent in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex

- Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering

- Understanding of data modelling, APIs, and integration patterns

- Ability to hold your own in a room with sales teams and customer architects

- Willingness to travel ~25% of the time and work directly alongside customers

Nice to have:

- Salesforce platform experience or certifications

- Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration patterns

- Hands-on with cloud data platforms

- Experience across specialist AI delivery areas
