## Description

EastEnders are looking for an Assistant Action Vehicle Supervisor to support the effective management and operation of their action vehicle fleet and wider production-owned vehicles.

The successful candidate will provide logistical, administrative, and operational support, helping to coordinate vehicle activity, maintain fleet records, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of vehicle services across production.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the day-to-day management, deployment, and availability of the EastEnders action vehicle fleet and wider production-owned vehicles

- Coordinating vehicle movements between filming locations, studio sites, suppliers, and storage facilities

- Managing vehicle maintenance activities, including servicing, repairs, MOTs, inspections, and condition checks

- Preparing vehicles for production use, liaising with production teams and external suppliers, and supporting cast and crew with vehicle operation requirements during filming

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, conducting driver licence and compliance checks, and deputising for the Action Vehicle Supervisor during periods of absence

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of fleet management, transport coordination, vehicle operations, or a similar role within a television drama or production environment

- Demonstrable understanding of drama production processes, including script breakdowns and vehicle requirements

- Evidenced strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, roadworthiness standards, and fleet compliance requirements

- Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vehicle movements, priorities, and operational demands

- Experience maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

- Excellent communication skills, including experience working with cast, crew, and external suppliers

- A full and clean driving licence

In return, the BBC offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000 + London Weighting at £5441, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
