## Description

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition to partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong working understanding of ASC 606 and experience in application of the standard to a SaaS business model in the tech industry.

Responsibilities:

- Work with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing, and Legal during contract negotiations and provide suggestions and guidance to ensure proper Revenue recognition

- Review complex revenue contracts for compliance with US GAAP and determine the appropriate accounting treatment

- Engage with external auditors and understand/respond to changes in audit approach

- Advance the use of Agentic tools to deliver best-in-class support

- Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed

- Lead training on revenue recognition rules, policies, and practices within the Company

- Deliver high-standard departmental, cross-departmental, and cross-region customer service

- Work with the Revenue Recognition team and respective business partners to develop and maintain SOX Compliance

- Revenue reporting and analysis, as needed

- Lead and assist with other special projects, as needed

Requirements:

- Ideally a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field

- Qualified Accountant or equivalent, ACA/ACCA preferable

- Team player who can work with virtual, global, and cross-functional teams

- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize competing goals and responsibilities

- Verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely

Nice to Have:

- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing company

- Interpersonal skills and ability to articulate verbally and in writing

- Audit firm experience with relevant revenue recognition experience

- Primary audit experience in SaaS/software industry

- Ability to build relationships with new and existing executives

- Experience with AI tools and LLMs

- Project Management skills

- French or Italian language skills
