## Description

We are seeking a QC Technician to join our team in Harvey, IL. As a QC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products.

**Responsibilities:**

- Work second shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

- Verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods

- Perform calculations and make blends to determine adjustments required to ensure conformance

- Maintain detailed records and communicate results in a timely manner

- Enter test data into our SAP system, file vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections

- Prepare laboratory reagents, calibrate equipment, and file retained samples

- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, flexibility, and collaboration with colleagues

- Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance

**Compensation:**

- Competitive compensation with experience in a similar position

- Salary range: $24 - $25.50 per hour

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry required

- Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

- Laboratory experience is a plus

- SAP computer system experience is a plus
