## Description

Join Twilio as a Principal Presales Engineer, working remotely from Japan. In this role, you will work with Twilio Strategic and New Business Account Executives, other Twilio Solutions Engineers, Professional Services, and Twilio Partners to strategize and plan for deal success.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with account executives and other stakeholders during the pre-sales process

- Develop subject matter expertise on customer needs and Twilio's communications technology

- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to uncover their needs and challenges

- Build and present complex presentations and product demos

- Support key strategic pilot and proof-of-concept implementations in large enterprise accounts

Qualifications:

- Native and business fluency in English and Japanese

- At least 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role in CPaaS, SaaS, or Telecom space

- Solid understanding of voice protocols, SIP implementations, and messaging APIs

- Experience with public cloud platforms and cloud application architectures

- Programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP
