## Description

As a Sales Development Representative at Cursor, you'll be responsible for generating pipeline from scratch, learning how great engineering teams think, and developing a deep understanding of how Cursor transforms developer productivity.

Your main tasks will include:

- Generating qualified pipeline for the Account Executive team through high-volume outbound prospecting

- Researching target accounts and mapping stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership

- Conducting discovery conversations to understand how development teams work and where Cursor fits

- Partnering closely with AEs to develop account strategies and hand off opportunities

- Hitting and exceeding weekly activity targets and monthly qualified meeting goals

- Representing Cursor's brand and product with conviction

- Bringing market intelligence back to the team

- Helping build the playbook as an early SDR

To be a good fit, you should have:

- 1-2 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or business development role

- Experience as an SDR/BDR at a SaaS or developer tools company is a strong plus

- Be a relentless self-starter who takes ownership of your pipeline

- Write and speak with clarity, explaining complex products simply

- Be curious about how software gets built and excited by AI

- Be organised and data-driven, tracking your activity and iterating quickly

- Have thick skin and genuine resilience

- Want to grow into an Account Executive role
