## Description

We are seeking a Business Oversight Compliance Specialist AVP (Macro) to provide Compliance coverage to Macro businesses within Markets supporting wider APAC priorities.

The successful candidate will help identify, assess and manage compliance risks, deliver independent, data-led compliance oversight and constructive challenge, and strengthen controls in line with legal, regulatory and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identification and assessment of compliance risks through thorough reviews of business activities, changes, processes, testing and systems

- Identification and investigation of potential market abuse, including Insider Dealing, Unlawful Disclosure, Market Manipulation or Anti-Competitive Conduct

- Conduct investigation of compliance risk events or breaches and oversight of corrective actions and preventative measures

- Implementation of compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements

- Collaboration with 1LOD, other relevant Compliance teams and legal, and relevant risk management functions

Assistant Vice President Expectations:

- Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function

- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes

Requirements:

- Relevant Compliance, Legal, regulatory or risk experience within financial services, ideally supporting a Markets business

- Good understanding of foreign exchange and rates products, market structure, and associated controls

- Experience providing real-time or transaction-specific Compliance or regulatory guidance

- Knowledge of key global and APAC regulatory requirements relevant to Markets

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Desirable skills:

- Prior experience covering Macro businesses, including foreign exchange, rates, or emerging markets

- Effective collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, including engagement with senior business and control leaders

- Analytical, detail-oriented and able to retain a clear view of the broader risk and business context
