## Description

NVIDIA's Automotive Vehicles team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help expand its autonomous vehicle solution. You will work on productizing groundbreaking perception solutions that redefine transportation and self-driving cars. Collaborating with a worldwide team of systems engineers, AI researchers, and software engineers, you will build world-class perception, mapping, and localization solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop perception, mapping, and localization system requirements from use cases and customer requirements.

- Analyze and define performance requirements and allocate performance budgets.

- Plan validation and formulate test cases and critical metrics to ensure compliance with requirements.

- Perform analysis and develop dashboards.

- Work closely with hardware engineering, safety, developers, and product teams to ensure the right product is built.

- Find innovative solutions to improve processes.

- Establish relationships with relevant partners across the organization.

**Requirements:**

- Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex systems, systems analysis, data analysis, and statistical analysis.

- Experience with verification and validation of world model stacks, data strategy definition, and failure analysis methodologies like Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and MTBF decomposition.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive alignment across large organizations.

- Proficiency with SQL and Python or C++.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with autonomous vehicles and/or machine learning, computer vision.

- Experience working with large datasets, data science, analytics.

- Software engineering experience.
