## Description

We're seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. You will work as needed and be asked to work anywhere from 8:00AM-4:30PM. Hours would vary based on our needs to cover heavy workload. PRN PT's provide weekend coverage as well.

As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions clients/patients/residents who are affected by injury or disease.

You will utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards. You will document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary. You will educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.

You will demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents. You may treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnosis and disorders. You will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.

You will be expected to provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by the department leadership. You will perform other related duties as requested by manager.

Based on facility needs and assigned locations, you may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments.
