## Description

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer III to validate, test, troubleshoot, and improve networking products and solutions. As a Test Automation Engineer III, you will work closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Development teams to ensure networking features, architectures, and releases meet quality, functionality, and customer requirements. You will develop automation tools and test frameworks to improve validation efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for networking products and solutions.

- Perform feature, system, integration, and regression testing to ensure product quality and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex networking and software issues.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.

- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Engineering teams.

- Participate in validation of networking reference designs and customer deployment scenarios.

- Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through resolution.

- Contribute to release readiness and product quality initiatives.

- Create technical documentation and validation reports.

- Work effectively within globally distributed engineering teams.

Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree and typically 5+ years of relevant experience in networking, validation engineering, testing, or quality engineering.

Knowledge and Skills - Required:

- Networking fundamentals

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

- Software testing and validation methodologies

- Python programming or automation experience

- Root-cause analysis capabilities

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Knowledge and Skills - Preferred:

- BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP knowledge

- Routing and switching experience

- Network testing and validation experience

- Test automation framework experience

- Enterprise or data-center networking exposure

- Linux and scripting experience
