## Description

As a Manager, Software Engineering at Toast, you will lead a highly skilled team of engineers to deliver solutions supporting business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Champion the use of AI tools and practices to accelerate development, improve team velocity, and pioneer new ways of building.

- Manage the daily activities of engineers who are delivering new features and enhancements critical to Toast's business growth.

- Oversee technical delivery operations for Quoting and Catalog Management systems, including Salesforce CPQ, Product Catalog, and other fit-for-purpose GTM solutions.

- Review deliverables for the team and contribute hands-on to complex delivery efforts.

- Lead collaborative discovery and execution ceremonies for engineering, research, design, and quality assurance peers.

- Communicate clearly, knowledgeably, and transparently with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

- Experience delivering high-impact Quoting, Catalog Management, and GTM initiatives as part of/leading a technical team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Well-versed in Quoting and Catalog Management systems (Salesforce CPQ, Product Catalog, Pricing Rules, etc.) and technologies (REST, SOAP, ETL, etc.).

- Implementation expertise and practical experience working on systems projects with large transactional volume involving complex system design across disparate systems.

- Experience in collaborating with product owners representing Sales, RevOps, Product Management, and Data Analytics.

- Experience in developing and retaining a highly talented team.

- Base salary range: $193,000-$309,000 USD (Zone A), $168,000-$269,000 USD (Zone B), $151,000-$242,000 USD (Zone C).
