## Description

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Global Credit Rating Team (GCRT) in Mumbai, India. As a Risk Analyst, you will undertake accurate and timely credit analysis of counterparties, write rating reports and credit reviews, and participate in live trades with onshore credit officers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Undertake accurate and timely credit analysis of counterparties by identifying business and financial risk

- Write rating reports and credit reviews for recommendation to senior members for approval

- Active participation in live trades with onshore credit officers

- On-going monitoring and surveillance of assigned international portfolios

- Understand various banking products and credit documentation

- Manage own credit portfolio and assist senior decision makers to make informed decisions

- Interface directly with credit officers and other stakeholders

- Participate in ad-hoc projects related to portfolio exercises and regulatory developments

- Ensure compliance with relevant and applicable local and global regulatory and policy requirements

**Requirements:**

- Relevant professional qualifications (MSc, MA, MBA, CA, CFA, etc.)

- Relevant work experience in credit underwriting

- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial markets and economic trends

- Strong accounting background, knowledge of financial ratios and financial statement analysis

- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity
