## Description

AIA Digital+ is seeking an Operating System Support (AS400) Consultant to ensure IT service availability and minimise business impact of IT service outages.

Responsibilities:

- Ensures IT service availability and minimises the AIA's business impact of IT service outages through effective management.

- Contributes to the improvement of user satisfaction with IT services by ensuring arrangements remain aligned with business needs and priorities.

AS/400 OS Management:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain AS/400 operating system across the organization.

- Ensure stability, security, and performance of AS/400 servers and endpoints.

Incident & Problem Managements:

- Manage AS/400 OS-related issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Patch & Update Management:

- Deploy patching to ensure all AS/400 systems are up-to-date and secure.

- Coordinate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and apply necessary updates.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

- Monitor the performance of AS/400 systems, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

- Prepare reports on AS/400 OS support operations, compliance, and risk management to senior leadership.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement AS/400 OS-related tools and technologies.

- Manage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure SLAs are met.

Budget & Resource Management:

- Assist in managing related budget.
