## Description

Gong is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of its Communications Capture team in Dublin. This team is responsible for building data pipelines that ingest and capture customer interactions from external communication systems.

As the Engineering Manager, you will:

- Lead and expand a growing team of backend and frontend engineers

- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards

- Collaborate with Product Managers to shape the team's roadmap

- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the team's products and infrastructure

- Design and architect long-term technical solutions

- Coach, mentor, hire, and grow team members

Requirements:

- Previous experience leading and developing growing teams

- Proven industry experience as a Senior software engineer

- Strong technical background in large-scale, cloud-based web applications

- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (advantage)

- Experience with user-facing products (advantage)

- Degree in computer science or a similar field (preferred)

- Proven experience in project management and team leadership

- Passion for motivating, mentoring, and cultivating people
