## Description

You will join the PrimeTime Product Engineering team at Synopsys, driving the technical strategy and production readiness for timing signoff solutions used by major semiconductor companies.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will engineer the future of timing signoff for designs that power everything from data centers to mobile devices. You have spent years in the trenches of timing signoff and understand the difference between a clean sign-off and one that comes back to haunt you three weeks before tapeout.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Driving production deployment of PrimeTime capabilities, including HyperGrid distributed STA, native IR-aware timing analysis, and thermal-aware signoff

- Leading direct technical engagements with design teams at leading-edge accounts, translating their advanced-node challenges into concrete product requirements

- Partnering with R&D teams to evaluate new architectures, validating functionality, and identifying performance bottlenecks

- Owning beta programs and pre-production evaluations, defining test plans, and tracking results

- Resolving critical customer escalations through structured root-cause analysis and building effective workarounds

The impact you will have:

- Enabling customers to achieve timing signoff on designs that would otherwise miss their tapeout windows

- Shaping the PrimeTime roadmap by connecting real customer pain points with engineering priorities

- Accelerating time-to-production for next-generation capabilities like ML-based corner optimization

- Building reusable deployment methodologies that scale across the customer base

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline

- Deep hands-on experience with PrimeTime or comparable timing signoff tools across multiple production tapeouts

- Strong understanding of static timing analysis fundamentals, including setup/hold analysis and clock domain crossing

- Proficiency in Tcl and Python for automation, analysis, and debugging of complex timing scenarios

- A track record of solving hard technical problems in EDA, ASIC/SoC design, or physical implementation environments

You will be part of the PrimeTime Product Engineering team, working at the intersection of R&D, Product Management, and customer-facing Application Engineering. This team drives the technical strategy and production readiness for Synopsys timing signoff solutions.
