## Description

We are seeking a Weighbridge Operator to join our team at our Irlam depot. As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the weighbridge and associated administration systems while maintaining accurate, compliant records.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring all waste acceptance procedures comply with site permit and company instructions.

- Weighing all vehicles, completing tickets accurately and operating the computer weighing system to ensure correct customer charges.

- Assisting the Site Supervisor with the completion of EA Waste Returns and required reports.

- Inputting, managing, and maintaining accurate data within spreadsheets and site IT systems.

- Processing supplier invoices, goods out information, and completing associated administration tasks.

- Delivering excellent customer service by handling telephone enquiries, operating site administration systems, and supporting overall site efficiency.

Our essential requirements include knowledge of the waste industry, Microsoft Office applications, and strong numeracy and literacy skills. You will also need good customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to juggle priorities and work under pressure with conflicting deadlines.
