## Description

DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc. seeks a Portfolio Manager, Equity in New York, NY to develop and maintain expertise across selected sub-industries within the investment universe, actively covering 60-80 securities and consistently generating differentiated, alpha-driven investment ideas.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent, and three years of experience in equity research covering TMT-related industries, including global technology, media, and AI.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying investment and research opportunities within the technology, media, and telecommunications space and delivering timely, actionable recommendations to portfolio managers based on research in public disclosures, regulatory filings, sell side research, management meetings, and expert consultations.

- Analyzing corporate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to assess company performance and financial health.

- Building and maintaining detailed company and industry-level financial models to translate complex data into concise, decision-ready insights.

- Performing valuation analyses, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) modeling, comparable company analysis (trading comps), and historical multiple analysis.

- Conducting fundamental equity research, including company-level due diligence using SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), earnings call transcripts, investor presentations, and primary research.

- Establishing long-term relationships with industry colleagues, including corporate management teams, sell-side researchers, and industry contacts for up-to-date insights on industry and company trends.

- Working with financial data platforms, including Bloomberg and FactSet, to source and reconcile financial data.

The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 – $240,000.00 per year.
