## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President to join our Financial Crime Screening team at Barclays in Gurugram.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day screening initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise to support screening initiatives

- Execute screening checks on customers, transactions, and activities to identify potential risks

- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate screening processes

- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change

- Develop and implement screening procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency

- Develop reports and presentations on screening performance

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to implement best practices

As an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to:

- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills

- Set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance

- Demonstrate leadership behaviours, including listening, energising, aligning, and developing others

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience in financial crime screening or a related field

- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in screening tools and systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
